Several Atlanta Police Department sources tell InsiderAdvantage that Mayor Kasim Reed and Police Chief George Turner have become too permissive in allowing open lawbreaking regarding traffic and public safety laws by Blacks Lives Matter and other radical protesters in recent days. And Reed has admitted that the city is doing all it can not to arrest protesters.
“If we had started making mass arrests of these young people, we would have been contributing to the very pathology that we are talking about, and that is giving young black people arrest records,” Reed told WABE Radio. “And so I ask that you consider the humanity we’ve shown in doing everything we could to refrain from arresting you, but all things have their limits.”
