A blighted retail area south of Gwinnett Place Mall could soon get a new life after the Gwinnett Planning Commission recommended approval of a new Community Improvement District.
The Gwinnett County Commission will decide on the plan, but Tuesday’s 8-0 vote in favor, along with no opposition at the meeting, likely bodes well.
