Americans will spend a little less to stuff themselves after the parade and before the game this Thanksgiving.
According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, a traditional Thanksgiving meal for 10 people will cost $49.87, down 24 cents from last year. Still, it is the second-highest cost for the dinner since the survey began in 1986.
Back then, a meal cost $28.74. This year’s meal, adjusted for inflation, cost $20.66 in 1986 dollars, the lowest level in six years.
