A Lawrenceville family is unhappy after the woman accused of attacking them on their porch did not show up for arraignment this week, about 11 months after the alleged attack. The defendant, Aisha Ibrahim, was due in Gwinnett County court Monday for arraignment on five charges, including one felony. Instead, a relative appeared in court to say the defendant was hospitalized.

The story was first reported by World News Daily. According to the report, the Arno family was sitting outside on May 31, 2016, when Ibrahim rushed them. The defendant allegedly grabbed a U.S. flag from the family’s mailbox and attempted to hit Dami Arno and her 17-year-old daughter with the flag’s pole.
