A jury in Cherokee County this week awarded James Lyle a total of $833,000 as a result of his libel lawsuit against the Tea Party Patriots. The charges stemmed from accusations made by Tea Party Patriots member Lee Martin that claimed Lyle had molested his girlfriend’s daughter. Lyle’s girlfriend, Amy Kremer, is a former chairman of a rival Tea Party group known as the Tea Party Express. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
