Ten Georgia private colleges that make up part of the Georgia Independent College Association (GICA) this month announced a partnership with their Puerto Rican counterpart to help students displaced by the devastating Hurricane Maria.
The GICA schools have agreed enroll Puerto Rican students for the spring 2018 semester, with tuition money going back to their local schools.
