On May 22nd or beginning on April 30th with early voting it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for a strong leader who is prepared to be our state’s next CEO. As your state Senator, I want you to know that I’m 100% behind Casey Cagle for governor.

Casey is a proven, consistent leader who has always delivered for our state – as well as North Fulton and Cherokee County. Due to his leadership as Lt. Governor, Georgia has been named the number one state to do business for five straight years, and we’ve added nearly 700,000 jobs and 40,000 new businesses. This year, Casey was the leader who fought to deliver the largest tax cut in Georgia history

Casey has also led to advance nationally renowned education reform measures – including the Charter Systems Act, College and Career Academy Network, and GA CATT apprenticeship program – which have been integral in transforming Georgia’s one-size-fits-all education system into a revolutionary model that puts students first. Not every student needs to get a four-year degree to be successful, and Casey is leading to prioritize workforce development so that all Georgia’s students graduate from high school with post-secondary experience or technical training that gives them the skills to attain rewarding careers.

Casey has stood up for our conservative principles his entire career. He has led to outlaw and defund sanctuary cities in Georgia, protect innocent life (earning him the Champion for Life award from the Georgia Life Alliance), and reform our adoption/foster care system to give faith-based organizations more opportunities to help children find loving homes.

In our own community, Casey’s leadership is obvious. He has led the Georgia Senate to invest heavily in improving transportation infrastructure so that our families will be able to get home and spend time with their loved ones. Additionally, Casey has led on programs – such as InvestGA and StartGA – which encourage venture capital growth in our state. Through these programs, as well as new high-tech education initiatives, we are cementing ourselves as the Silicon Valley of the South.

We are in fact hiring a new Governor with our vote.  I want a Governor with a proven business career who has successfully made a payroll.  We also need someone with sound government and executive experience.  Lastly, I want someone strong in their faith, family and character.  Casey Cagle meets all these criteria and we need him to keep Georgia moving forward.

Casey was raised by a single mom in a single wide trailer in rural Hall county.  He hasn’t forgotten where he came from, and his natural ability to connect with every person in this state is part of what makes him such a strong leader. It didn’t surprise me when Casey made history by becoming the first Republican to win the office of Lt. Governor, and I know he will make history again when he takes our state to new heights as the 83rd Governor of Georgia.

Please join me in supporting Casey Cagle and voting to elect him as our next Governor on May 22nd.
