U.S. Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga 11th District) introduced a Religious Freedom resolution during part of the recent Religious Freedom Week that he says will “reiterate the importance of our first amendment rights especially in a time when there is a lot of global tension over religious beliefs and freedom to worship.”
A spokesman for Loudermilk’s office said this resolution sends a message that “without religious freedom, freedom itself disappears.”
