Governor Nathan Deal, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle and House Speaker David Ralston on Friday made their first round of appointments to the Atlanta-region Transit Link Authority (The ATL) which will oversee transit coordination and funding between the 13 counties that comprise the Atlanta metro. Charlie Sutlive, director of corporate communication at Georgia Power, will chair the board, while Teddy Russell of Russell Landscape, Mark Toro of North American Properties, Charlotte Nash of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, and Earl Ehrhart, the outgoing state rep. who is now CEO of Taylor English Decisions (and a former James Magazine Legislator of the Year!). WNBA embroiled in trans-athlete drama
Last Sunday a mother and daughter attended the Atlanta Dream/Indiana Fever basketball game at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. With two minutes left in overtime the pair were ordered to cover their XX-XY chromosome shirts— and the censorship incident went viral. It’s obvious that left-wing, pro-trans leaders of the Women’s National Basketball Association are intent on suppressing the message that men and women are different and that biological men cannot become women. However, widespread public support exists for these statements of fact, and by trying to censor them the WNBA is actually causing these viral moments.
