Georgia’s Governor-Elect Brian Kemp spent more than a year carrying his ‘Georgians First’ message across the state. On January 14, Kemp will be sworn in as Georgia’s 83rd Governor, and he’s keeping his ‘Georgians First’ message at the forefront.
His swearing-in ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. at the McCamish Pavilion on the campus of Georgia Tech. This ceremony will be the finale to a week of regional events which were announced recently by the Inaugural Committee. Kemp will kick off the celebrations on Jan. 9 with visits to Augusta and Savannah. The next day, he’ll make stops in Fort Valley, and also have a Georgians First Law Enforcement and First Responder Appreciation Event in Blakely.
On Jan. 11, Kemp will start the day with a Georgians First Military Appreciation Breakfast (invitation only), before going to Whitesburg and Gainesville. He’ll close out the regional events on Jan. 12 in Dalton.
