U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA) is trying to raise awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery.

Only a few days ahead of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Isakson introduced a resolution designating Jan. 1 – Feb. 1, 2019, as “National Trafficking and Modern Slavery Prevention Month.” He also highlighted the ongoing work in Georgia to improve awareness of this problem by nonprofits, state leaders and corporations such as Delta Airlines and UPS.
