To call it “making progress” would be too strong. But the idea for the “Stitch” – a freeway “lid” of park space that would cover the connector of I-75 and I-85 downtown – has not been dismissed. Later this month, it could potentially get a big push. Experts from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) will be coming to Atlanta to investigate and advise possibilities for the Stitch.
