State leaders are urging the U.S. Justice Department to revisit a November opinion that could outlaw online lottery tickets, and even eliminate multi-state games like Powerball.  The opinion dictates that the federal Wire Law, a piece of anti-gambling legislation, could be interpreted to outlaw online state lotteries.  An interpretation that strict could cost the state more than $220 million, severely damaging the wildly successful HOPE Scholarship.  Gov. Brian Kemp and AG Chris Carr have urged the DOJ to revisit the ruling, but with the opinion currently up in the air, the state lotto’s ship is DRIFTING…
