We hear a lot about rising crime rates in many of Georgia’s cities, but what about its safest locales? Home security provider SafeWise has ranked Georgia’s top 50 safest cities, based on violent and property crime totals. Senoia, home of the hit show The Walking Dead, rated out as Georgia’s safest city, with no violent crimes and a low property crime rate. Several Atlanta suburbs also scored high on the list, including John’s Creek, Milton, and Peachtree City. The Atlanta Falcons have not made the playoffs since the 2017 season, an eon in football terms, but hope springs eternal for the franchise as it is projected to win its division behind new star quarterback Kirk Cousins and new Head Coach Raheem Morris.
