Gov. Brian Kemp ran on a platform of investing in Georgia’s education, and backed his campaign promises up with record-pay raises for teachers, school security grants, and mental health funding.

His commitment to education figures to continue in the upcoming 2020 legislative session, with more teacher raises and additional funding for the HOPE Scholarship potentially on the docket.
