Congress voted Thursday to formalize an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump by a margin of 232 to 196, with the vote split almost exactly down party lines, (two Democrats voted against the resolution).
In Georgia all five House Dems voted in favor of the resolution, while eight of its nine Republicans voted against it, (the ninth, Rep. Jody Hice, R-GA10, was away attending his father’s funeral).
