Most everyone is aware of the United States’ embassies in nearly every country across the globe. Georgia has its own international presence though, in the form of 12 trade offices in countries as close as Mexico and Canada and as far as England, Japan, and China.
These offices represent Georgia’s goods and services overseas, building relationships and making deals that have secured millions of dollars in investments for local companies seeking out new markets. From investment, to trade, to tourism, the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s international relations arm is at the forefront of the state’s burgeoning global presence.
