The water has been turned on in what will soon be Atlanta’s largest public park, Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry. Over the past year a massive drill carved out a five-mile tunnel between the quarry and the Chattahoochee River. The quarry will fill with water to be used as an emergency reservoir for the city as well as the centerpiece of the massive park, which will be an anchor for development in the westside of Atlanta. ICE operation catches criminals
During the Biden administration illegal immigrants overwhelmed systems ranging from healthcare to schools. Illegal alien street gangs flourished. Now, though, Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the results of an enhanced immigration enforcement operation throughout Georgia. “Operation Safe Community” yielded 1,226 immigration arrests in recent weeks. Of those individuals who snuck across our borders, 720 had been convicted or charged with crimes in the U.S. According to ICE, the criminal histories of the arrested aliens include sex crimes, crimes against children, aggravated assault, assault and battery, drug crimes, lewd and lascivious acts, weapons crimes and burglary.
