State Senator Randy Robertson (R-Cataula) spent 31 years as a first responder. He still remembers the day — as a law enforcement officer in the 1980s — when first responders dealt with the AIDS epidemic.
“First responders were exposed to a lot of unknown dangers every day,” said Robertson. “Today, our first responders are facing many of the same challenges because of the COVID-19 outbreak.”
