State officials Monday released a list of local businesses that have offered to help provide personal protective equipment and other healthcare equipment during the coronavirus pandemic. Ga. Supreme Court’s controversial decision
The recent decision by the Georgia Supreme Court to no longer hear (most) murder appeals has led to criticism and debate, particularly from the state Court of Appeals, which will now handle those cases. Court of Appeals judges say their staffs are already stretched thin, and that such a move would require the legislature to significanltly increase funding and staffing within the Nathan Deal Judicial Center.
