Almost everyone seems to agree that Tuesday’s primary election was “unacceptable” and “a failure” as voters in at least two of Georgia’s most populous counties waited in long lines, were told they had already voted by absentee ballot and encountered new voting machines that did not work correctly. But they disagree on who is to blame, and the questions left many — including top state officials — calling for an investigation and an apology.
