U.S. Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) believes Georgia plays a central role in the National Defense Strategy. And through his efforts, the state’s nine military installations could benefit greatly from the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021. The bill passed through the Armed Services Committee Wednesday and is headed to the full U.S. Senate.
Provisions included by Perdue address a number of issues including improving military housing, growing the submarine construction workforce, supporting Army cyber training and developing new technologies.
