The panel for the June 21st broadcast had plenty to say about Fulton County DA Paul Howard charging a white Atlanta police officer with 11 criminal counts including felony murder in the shooting death of a black man on probation who resisted arrest and attempted to flee.
Also discussed is the low morale in the Atlanta Police Department in the wake of five officers fired by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and eight criminally charged by the DA. There’s also a left-right debate over two versions of hate crimes legislation and a breakdown of the upcoming primary runoffs.
