IAG Chairman Matt Towery gave this analysis of the latest poll, and what to expect on election day.
“The two sets of candidates appear to be converging to a point at which it would be unlikely to see the parties split the ticket.
“We did see some momentum for Republican Kelly Loeffler coming out of this latest poll, and a little bit of a push for Democrat Jon Ossoff. But in neither instance did the momentum appear to be something to make any prediction off of.
“We also polled the issue of whether Republican voters feel the two U.S. Senators supported the president after the November election. About 68% of Republicans felt that the two Senators supported Trump, 18 somewhat supported him, 7 did not show support. That figure should give Republicans some concern as to what the potential turnout might be. And it certainly makes the president’s rally tonight in Dalton all the more important.”
