Community development organization Turn Around Columbus is working on a project that it hopes will reinvigorate the south side of town, an area which could use some investment. The first phase of the George Washington Carver Victory Garden & Farm began in January, and when completed the $4.6 million project will partner with the Muscogee County School District to provide students with hands-on learning as well as to provide fresh produce for the community.
