U.S. Congressman David Scott (D-GA) is seeking federal funds to fight traffic and improve road safety within the counties of the 13th Congressional District. Scott has submitted requests for funding for five projects to the House Agriculture Committee — one for projects in each of the county’s that he represents including Cobb, Douglas, Fulton, Clayton and Henry counties. The total amount for all five projects has a $23 million price tag.
