A concerted effort from business and political leaders to revitalize downtown Augusta is paying off in a big way.  Even amidst the pandemic, the ‘Broad Street Corridor,’ aka downtown, saw a net gain of 40 new businesses over the past year, many looking to ride the surge of COVID re-openings and this summer’s economic bump.  From bars and bakeries to bike rentals, downtown Augusta has a lot of new faces – good news for residents and visitors alike.
