Several members of the Georgia Congressional Delegation applauded passage of the INVEST in America Act Thursday, which will mean new dollars for major infrastructure projects across the state – including roads, bridges, passenger and freight rail systems, transit safety, clean drinking water and wastewater.

“The INVEST Act is a critical investment in infrastructure for Georgia’s 13th Congressional District and our entire nation,” said Congressman David Scott (D-GA-13). “I am proud to announce that $19 million for projects I requested were included to enhance the flow of traffic, support public safety and increase sustainability for communities across metro Atlanta.”
