(Editor’s note: This is one of a series of articles in the months to come on candidates for statewide office.)

State Sen. Jen Jordan (D-Atlanta) is gearing up for the 2022 Georgia elections and is turning up the heat on her bid for state office. Jordan is one of several Democrats who have announced their intent to run for Attorney General against Republican incumbent Chris Carr. An Atlanta attorney and Democrat, “Jordan says she’ll fight to give people a voice, who just need a fair shot to get ahead.”

Already in the race is fellow Democrat Charlie Bailey, also an Atlanta attorney and former prosecutor, who lost to Carr in 2018 by about 100,000 votes.
