(Editor’s note: This is one of a series of articles in the months to come on Democrat and Republican candidates for office.)

Jake Evans says he is “a bold conservative trailblazer, running a bold unafraid campaign in an effort to retake the country.” The Atlanta attorney is running to unseat Lucy McBath in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District and turn the seat back over to Republican control. Wednesday, he sat down exclusively with InsiderAdvantage to talk about his campaign and his goals.

“We need bold, fearless conservative fighters to retake this country and I am one of those fighters and I have a record to prove it,” said Evans. “Just months into the race, I proudly voiced my pro-life stance with the Georgia Life Alliance survey and received their certification, I made the pledge to take no money from Big Tech and signed the US Term limits pledge. The momentum of my campaign, which is a campaign for the people, is building and we are just getting started.”

Evans says he will “sell and deliver for the American People.” He further explains:

“S – security for our people; E – education for our children; L – liberty for our rights and L – limited government for our country. That’s the future of America.”

He goes on to say that he will “prioritize American families by lowering taxes and reducing regulation to unleash job creation, securing American border, negotiating trade deals that put American workers first and ensures that other countries are paying their fair share and stopping forever wars that cost us lives and treasure.”

Evans has already received a number of endorsements in his campaign, including former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr, former US Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Georgia Speaker Mark Burkhalter, former Georgia GOP Chairwoman Sue Everhart and former 6th District Candidate Col. Eric Welsh. Late last week, he received the endorsement of former US Intelligence Chief & Ambassador Richard Grenell, and was recognized by U.S. Term Limits (USTL), the leader in the non-partisan national movement to limit terms for elected officials, for signing the pledge for an amendment to term limit Congress.

Evans says he brings a unique resume to the campaign, adding that he has served the Republican cause his entire life, “from attending political events and knocking on doors for Gingrich’s campaigns to serving as the president of the Atlanta Young Republicans and taking on countless leadership roles at Republican district and county conventions.”

He also points to his experience as an attorney where Evans has argued before the Supreme Court against government overreach. He is the current Chairman of the Republican National Lawyers Association’s Georgia Chapter.

He also served previously as the chairman of Georgia’s State Ethics Commission where he says he held politicians from both parties to the highest standards required by state law “specifically enforcing fines on dark money groups supporting Stacey Abrams, former D.A. Paul Howard. and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.”

“I’ve worked my entire life, starting in childhood, for Republican victories, and as a proud Georgian and American, I’m not going to stand by and surrender to the advance of the left,” Evans said. “While representing Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, my friend Speaker (Newt) Gingrich led the Republican Revolution in 1994, and the patriots of this generation are ready to lead the Great American Comeback of 2022. And this Great American Comeback starts right here, in Georgia’s 6th District.”
