David Belle Isle
David Belle Isle, one of the Republican candidates seeking the nomination for Georgia Secretary of State, has unveiled a multi-part video series focusing on election irregularities, mistakes, and “cautionary tales” from the 2020 election. The videos, which are being featured on YouTube, are the result of “too much misinformation or a lack of information,” according to Belle Isle.
“The videos are intended to give a straight forward look at the facts of the 2020 election,” said Belle Isle during an exclusive interview with InsiderAdvantage Tuesday. “Was the 2020 election stolen? I am asked this question all the time.”
Belle Isle, who finished second in a runoff for the Republican nomination to Raffensperger in the election three years ago, said they came up with the idea for Belle Isle University and the videos as an educational tool “for most of us reasonable Conservatives who want to see accuracy in our elections and elections we can trust in.”
The videos will be addressing a number of issues – including the ballot applications that Raffensperger mailed out for the 2020 election.
“A lot hasn’t been said about this, but in many ways, I believe the election was lost before it was ever held,” said Belle Isle. “They mailed these applications to the entire voter list – a list that was not accurate across all 159 counties. You don’t need to look any further than Fulton County to see this. Also, these absentee ballot applications had an option that has never been considered before which was a checkbox to receive ballots for the duration of the cycle. That could be as many as four over six months, and all kinds of things could happen in six months. It’s just not a good process.”
Belle Isle says there was also the mistake of sending these by First Class mail which means once it arrives at an address and that person no longer lives there, it would be forwarded to the new address – which by definition makes that an illegal vote.
Belle Isle goes on to point out that there were problems with the drop boxes used during COVID – not just because of questionable surveillance methods and chain of custody, but also the “safety of drop boxes” as far as COVID is concerned.”
The videos will also focus on other decisions made prior to the election – including changes in the “rejection process” for absentee ballots – which resulted in a major change in the rejection rate – down from an average 4.6 percent in previous years to 0.4 percent.
“This decision alone changes the outcome of the election from a matter of statistics.”
Belle Isle says future videos will focus on other aspects of the last election, including audits that were performed – describing the types of audits that were actually conducted and what these audits cover and don’t cover.
Belle Isle said he hopes to release between 10-12 videos over the next few months to educate voters and “make our elections better moving forward.”
