A bill that lawmakers say would expand education options in Georgia by creating education savings accounts is now eligible to be considered by the full state House as the end of the 2023 session of the General Assembly draws near. Senate Bill 233, the Georgia Promise Scholarship Act, by Sen. Greg Dolezal, R-Cumming, received a do-pass from the House Education committee earlier this week after a few changes and is now headed the House Rules Committee. It could be up for a floor vote as soon as today.
