Concerns continue to grow over vulnerabilities within Georgia’s voting system after the public release of the bombshell Halderman Report which pointed out “vulnerabilities in nearly every part of the system.” Earlier this week, InsiderAdvantage reported that former U.S. Senator and Greater Georgia Chairwoman Kelly Loeffler called on the Georgia Secretary of State and the State Election Board to take emergency action to fix the long-existing software problem in Georgia’s voting machines ahead of the 2024 election. Wednesday, Lt. Governor Burt Jones and Josh McKoon, Chairman of the Georgia GOP, also called for action and answers from the Secretary of State’s office.

“I’ve requested a meeting with the Secretary of State’s Office to discuss the recent report outlining potential vulnerabilities within our voting system and their decision to wait until after the 2024 elections to address it,” said Jones. “With ongoing cyberattacks on the rise every day, we must be vigilant about protecting and securing our voting system from any future interference in our elections. Our office will continue working to ensure our elections are free, fair and secure so that every Georgian can have the utmost confidence in our democracy.”
