Northwest Georgia is decidedly NOT President Joe Biden country.  In fact it is Marjorie Taylor Greene country, fiercely supportive of the second-term congresswoman who has repeatedly called for Biden’s impeachment and been one of the most vocal supporters of former President Donald Trump.  But Biden announced recently he will be in Greene’s district soon, Dalton to be specific, to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new $2.5 billion facility from South Korean energy supplier Qcells.  The solar panel manufacturing facility, paired with another in Bartow County, mark the largest-ever investment in clean energy manufacturing in U.S. history, a continued point of emphasis for the Biden administration.  It also notches yet another win for Georgia’s green job boom that includes several massive electric vehicle plants across the state.
