Lt. Gov. Burt Jones has made his appointments to a commission created to serve as an oversight mechanism for district attorneys and solicitors-general across Georgia. Jones announced his appointments late last week to the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission (PAQC) which was created by Senate Bill 92 after the last legislative session.

Both Speaker of the House Jon Burns, R-Newington, and Gov. Brian Kemp also have appointments to the commission. Burns announced his appointees last month.
