Lt. Gov. Burt Jones wants answers regarding the state’s voting system, and he isn’t getting any from Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger or representatives from Dominion Voting Systems. Jones posed his questions several weeks ago to address concerns regarding software updates for Georgia’s voting system that have been raised in recent months.

With no answers, Jones announced earlier this week that the Senate Ethics Committee will be holding hearings this fall to consider proactive steps the General Assembly can take to ensure safe and secure elections. His announcement came as he and state Sen. Max Burns, R-Sylvania, provided an update on the meeting with representatives from Dominion, staff from the Office of the Secretary of State and Senate leadership.
