Former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese dropped a legal bombshell this week by filing an amicus brief in U.S. District Court calling Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump and former U.S. Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Clark “a major affront” to the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution never seen before in our country.
He labels he charges a “noteworthy challenge to federal authority,” and savaged Willis in what he believes is a weak case against the country’s 45th president.
