U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, R-GA, has been named to the conference committee on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which sets the military’s fiscal year (FY) 2024 funding levels and provides for national security and military priorities by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-CA. And Carter has already set his goals for Georgia and the 1st Congressional District he serves.
According to Carter, the bipartisan, bicameral conference committee’s goal it to improve and work towards a version of the FY24 NDAA that strengthens the country’s national defense and “enhance quality of life for service members and their families.”
