Who needs Munich? The longest running Oktoberfest in the U.S. is back now in Helen, in north Georgia. Running through the end of October the popular event engulfs the scenic alpine town but centers around the Helen Festhalle, where visitors can take in the (semi) authentic sights and sounds and of course – steins of beer! There’s also of course live music, plenty of sausages, lederhosen and more.
