The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) recently released its 2023 Talent Supply Report, a comprehensive look at the workforce across Georgia and its relationship to higher education. The report is the fourth edition in six years and examines the degrees conferred by Georgia universities and the open jobs requiring those degrees (Hint: Not great news for liberal arts education devotees). The research identifies gaps and opportunities and provides recommendations for improving the workforce.
“This research and analysis is one piece of a long-term, multi-pronged strategy to grow and develop metro Atlanta’s skilled talent pool,” said Katie Kirkpatrick, president and CEO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. “This report equips our staff, partners and stakeholders with critical, actionable information around crucial gaps and opportunities in our state’s workforce. Because of the information contained in this report, we know where we need to focus our efforts.”
