Brookhaven’s swanky new digs

The city of Brookhaven north of Atlanta has only officially existed for about 10 years – but it’s about to get a major upgrade in the form of a sparkling new $78 million city hall.  City officials including Mayor John Ernst broke ground on the ambitious project last week, located at the Brookhaven-Oglethorpe MARTA Station.  Scheduled to open in 2025, the building includes event space and room for retail, and local officials say they hope it will anchor future development of a ‘downtown’ center for Brookhaven.  RISING…
