Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger wants the Senate to follow action taken by the House recently, and fund new technology that would give election officials the ability to audit the text of every choice on every ballot. Raffensperger says this tool will allow for greater election security by auditing the text without the use of QR codes.
He made the request as early voting for the March 12 presidential primary in Georgia kicked off.
