Mike Crane says his journey into public service was never part of “the plan.” But involvement in the Tea Party beginning in 2010 led to a political journey that now has him running in the Republican Primary for Georgia’s 3rd Congressional seat after U.S. Rep. Drew Ferguson announced that he would not seek re-election.
Crane served five years in the Georgia Senate and served over seven years as the Chair of the Georgia Republican Party’s 3rd District Committee. He resigned that post to seek the Congressional seat with hopes of “Rebuilding America.”
