It’s late June and in just a few weeks several new laws will go into effect in Georgia. Gov. Brian Kemp signed 709 bills into law from the last legislative session which include laws against telemarketers, school vouchers and bills designed to help address healthcare needs in rural Georgia.

One of the new laws taking effect in a few weeks should cut down on spam and telemarketing phone calls. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act prevents anyone from making a call on behalf of another company.
