‘Unity’ is the theme this week at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. For Georgia Republicans attending the convention one of the biggest shows of unity took place Tuesday when Gov. Brian Kemp spoke at several events throughout the day.
“We’ve got to remember, we’ve got to look forward from now, today — right now — to November,” Kemp said. “And I will promise you I will be side by side with all of you to make sure that we keep Georgia red in 2024.”
The comments from Kemp were met with applause by the nearly 100 Georgia delegates and alternates when he promised a united front –some even giving him a standing ovation.
