Shoppers at Town Center Mall in Kennesaw were greeted Tuesday morning with signs on all entrances stating the mall was closed due to “unforeseen circumstances”. As it turns out, the electricity was disconnected. In a statement, Georgia Power went on to say that they have been working for many months with the mall to resolve their “highly delinquent” bill, and shutting the power off was a last resort. With most of the mall looking like a ghost town, and the recent announcement from Belk closing their store in the mall, the fate of the mall is SINKING…
Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
