The March 2nd show opens with analysis of Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens’ first term record & his reelection prospects. Debate then centers on Rep. Rich McCormick’s support for cutting the federal bureaucracy and waste but it mustn’t be done too quickly. Support for historically black colleges & universities is discussed as is the Carter Library’s cancellation of some book events. Other topics: A new state Supreme Court justice and House passage of a ban on males playing in female sports.
