Tariffs are all over the headlines these days and roiling the stock market as critics and supporters argue over their implementation.  But there is one industry in Georgia that very much stands to gain by them – shrimping.  Georgia’s shrimp industry has struggled since COVID thanks to pond-farmed shrimp from Asia and Latin America flooding the market and undercutting prices.  Shrimpers say tariffs could save the local industry by leveling the playing field against foreign shrimp imports that play by a totally different set of rules.  The tariff debate rages on but for Georgia shrimpers it has their livelihoods RISING…
