The Georgia Libertarian Party suffered a blow in 2024 when they lost automatic ballot access because they didn’t receive enough total votes. Per state law, the party now has to collect 72,679 in-person signatures by July 14, 2026 – 1% of active 2024 general election voters – to regain ballot access for the 2026 midterms. Led by Chase Oliver, a Georgia native who was the Libertarian candidate for president last year, party officials and volunteers are already hard at work collecting signatures. Could Paramount be coming to Georgia?
Paramount Skydance, one of the biggest and most prominent entertainment companies in the world, is furious at its home state of California over a lawsuit filed by the state’s attorney general attempting to stop a merger. In response, Chair David Ellison has threatened to move from Los Angeles to a state not actively suing his company, and Georgia was on the shortlist of possibilities. Gov.
