The US Dept. of Agriculture’s Supplemental Disaster Relief Program is now available for Georgia farmers who suffered crop losses from last year’s Hurricane Helene or other natural disasters. Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper says he’s urging impacted farmers to go ahead and apply now, and applauded U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins for getting the system up and running. Carr joins LSU football fight
In the South, college football is religion – and now it’s politics too. Members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) are furious with LSU over its attempts to sign players already in the NFL to come back to college to play for the Tigers. On Wednesday, Attorney General Chris Carr, (presumably at the behest of some big names at UGA) urged the SEC to take “all measures available” against LSU.
